People with rare autoimmune rheumatic diseases face a greater risk of dying from COVID-19, according to a new Rheumatology study that found working-age people with these conditions faced a risk similar to those 20 years older in the general population.

The American Lung Association’s virtual COVID-19 Summer Town Hall Series brings together top health experts to raise awareness about the effects of COVID-19.
